Czersk House

Czersk House

The reader's home

Our conceptual design is located on the Vistula escarpment in Czersk. The house opens to the valley and the surrounding nature. The main goal of the project was to create a refuge - a place that would be an escape from the everyday city noise, so that the household members could relax and feel at home. Therefore, our main leitmotif of the project was balance.

Composure

To maintain balance, the house design was divided into two functional zones - day and night. The night part is located on the first floor. The bedrooms open onto a terrace overlooking the valley. The living area is located on the ground floor, directly next to the garden. This division allows us to fully relax in the night area and work in the day area.

Materials

The texture of brushed natural stones comes to the fore. White and wood dominate the entire color scheme of the space, so for contrast a subtle color of green was introduced in the kitchen joinery. Wood for the floor warms up the interior, harmonizing and creating harmony with other materials.
